CARE INSTRUCTIONS


Emerging From The Ether pieces are made to last, but some materials are delicate and require special care. The instructions below should ensure your garments stay in their best condition. If you have further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.


Ciré is a thin, glossy cotton material popularized in the 1800s with a thinly glazed surface set by heat and pressure, best care practices will keep the shine intact.


-wipe with a damp sponge if needed

-hand wash cold if needed

-line dry or dry flat

-steam or iron matte side on low


-do not machine wash

-do not bleach

-do not expose to high heat

FOR LATEX


Latex is a flexible material with shine and stretch like no other, made by extracting rubber sap from the tree Hevea brasiliensis, best care practices will keep the shine intact.


-wipe with a damp sponge

-hand rinse in warm water

-wipe away excess water to dry

-store flat or loosely folded

-use a silicone-based polish for shine


-do not expose to heat or direct sunlight

-do not use oil-based polish or lubricant

FOR COTTON CIRÉ


Knit garments will stay in better condition with proper washing, drying, and storage methods. Knit materials generally are more malleable than wovens, and need treated with care.


-avoid washing with every wear

-hand wash cold with scent free soap

-machine wash cold in garment bag

-dry flat or rolled in a towel

-steam on low heat if needed

-store flat or loosely folded


-do not put through heavy spin cycle

-do not bleach

-do not expose to high heat
